Today marked my halfway point on the road hike. I have my trail legs under me now. My feet are getting stronger by the day.It has been dangerous walking because there is no room on the road for me. The hillside of the road is just that, a steep drop off. It is very hard on my ankles and legs to be walking sideways all day…

The Lord is watching over me. I had to cross a bridge that had no pedestrian traffic. All there was enough room for is 2 lanes of traffic. I waited for my chance and went for it with no problems. 10 minuets later a police car goes screaming by me with lights and sirens. A truck pulls up and talks to me telling me there was just a major car accident on that bridge right after I went over it. Multiple cars totaled but people seemed to be walking around. He said If I would have been crossing that bridge at that time I would most definitely be dead…

I walked into Columbus Georgia today as the News was there waiting for me… It feels great being able to male the noise that needs to be made to get people to think twice about addiction…

Madi’s cousin Esmer lives in Columbus… She took us out to dinner and we had a great time… It was really nice meeting some of Madi’s family…
